Pastoral

Boarding

Wycombe Abbey offers a modern approach to boarding, with girls given the opportunity to go home regularly.  Ninety percent of pupils board, and day boarders are encouraged to participate fully in the life of the School.

All Houses are led by a dedicated and professional pastoral team.  UIII pupils spend a year in Junior House before moving into one of nine senior Houses.  In their final year girls move into the standalone Clarence House, where they are able to enjoy more independence in preparation for university.

Food at Wycombe Abbey

Food at Wycombe Abbey is provided by Holyroyd Howe and is all prepared on site.  We offer a wide range of options throughout the day, and all special dietary requirements are catered for.

Sixth Form

Our Sixth Form curriculum is designed to nurture individual interests and provide a solid foundation for university studies and the global workplace of tomorrow.

All girls in the Sixth Form follow a programme of enrichment, carefully designed to develop critical thinking, leadership and business, research and presentation skills.  It also includes guidance on university applications, careers and health and wellbeing.
